Efficiency is one of the most practical ways to add some green to your food service operations. Saving energy and water not only cuts your operating costs – it’s a great way to impress your customers! Tightening up your energy belt is not that difficult and much of what you need to do comes down to basic no/low costs improvements to your operations. Richard Young will discuss what’s happening in the green restaurant world and offer up a plate full of good practices that save you money while the FSTC’s Lauren Mills will share her experiences working with local green businesses and what they are doing to put the green in their kitchens.
